Marking Moments
In life, we experience moments that I like to call marking moments. These are significant moments in time, history, and space that ultimately define who we are. They are the moments when God shows up and shows out — moments that shape how we view ourselves, the world, and others.
At 23 years old, I’ve experienced quite a few marking moments:
5+ significant familial deaths in the span of 5 years
Graduating from high school during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic
Accepting my call to ministry
Receiving my first public prophecy
Launching my business
Being evicted from my first apartment
Having "my" dream car repossessed
A pregnancy scare
Going “viral”
The day I stopped watching pornography
And this list goes on…
Mya’s Marking Moments will serve as a space for storytelling, but also a way to shed light on the goodness and faithfulness of God, in the midst of it all.
I aim to inspire others to share their stories without fear, guilt, or shame. I’m not sure who will see this blog, but I pray that each entry blesses you beyond measure.
Talk soon,
Mya Jurnae
