It’s the 1st of the Month

The number 7 signifies completeness and divine order.

And truly, I do believe that this will be the month of just that for me. The first 6 months of this year have been interesting. I’ve been challenged in ways I never thought possible. Yet, God continues to sustain me.

I want to take the rest of this year to really commit to the dreams and goals that I have for myself. I don’t want to just dream - I want to see the fulfillment.

There are so many desires in my heart that I have just let lay there. What good is a dream without the effort to go with it?

“In the same way faith, if it does not have works, is dead by itself.” James 2:17 CSB

That scripture is one that has been thrown around in my life. But, I never truly considered it’s weight until now. What is the point of believing in something if I don’t do my part in seeing it come to pass?

My prayer for you is that you also put works behind your faith. But, not just works to say you’ve done something. Not just doing stuff just to do it. But true effort that aligns holistically with what the Lord has placed in your heart. That kind of work is the type that God blesses.
